The US Navy has ordered an additional Fuel Cell power plant for its US Marine Corps training facility in California, it has been announced.
Another 250kW power plant has been ordered from FuelCell Energy, adding to a previous 500kW order made by the US Navy in 2006.
The new plant is due to be installed at Camp Pendleton in California in June, with LOGANEnergy® responsible for the installation.
Commenting on the new order, LOGANEnergy®'s chief executive Sam Logan said his company was a "proud partner" with FuelCell Energy.
"FuelCell Energy has worked very hard to develop the advanced DFC300MA units going into Camp Pendleton, and they are sure to raise the standards for clean, reliable and efficient FuelCell Energy services," he added.
