Logan Energy’s business development manager, Nick Stapley, travelled to Amsterdam in April for the FCH JU Hydrogen Valley workshop, organised by Roland Berger.

Attendees discussed the potential of “Hydrogen Valleys”- demonstration sites where renewable hydrogen is used in many different end-use scenarios, including including industrial applications, transport, heat, power, etc.

Nick spoke about the Levenmouth Community Energy Project– a working example of the “Hydrogen Valley” concept- discussing the installation, technology used, challenges faced and what the future holds. Along with the use of renewable hydrogen to decarbonise transport fleets and how the Levenmouth refuellers have enabled that.
