Logan Energy, a leading provider of integrated hydrogen technologies, has expanded its footprint in Scotland with the opening of a new office at Energy Transition Zone’s flagship W-ZERO 1 building in Aberdeen.

The move strengthens Logan Energy’s presence in the North East, enabling the company to work more closely with existing clients and support the region’s growing demand for low-carbon energy solutions.

“Establishing a base within W-ZERO 1 places us at the heart of Aberdeen’s energy transition,” said Craig Stewart, Business Development Director, Logan Energy. “This move brings us closer to our customers and partners in the North East. With a local presence, we are better positioned to service and maintain existing hydrogen infrastructure while helping to deliver the next generation of projects across the region.”

W-ZERO 1, located at the entrance to the Energy Transition Zone (ETZ), is home to a range of innovative organisations, as well as the National Floating Wind Innovation Centre (FLOWIC). The building provides a collaborative environment designed to accelerate the energy transition by bringing together businesses across the hydrogen, offshore wind, and renewables sectors.

Logan Energy is a designer, supplier, and integrator of complete hydrogen production, refuelling, compression, storage, dispensing, and fuel cell solutions. The company has recently developed an innovative way of integrating systems to deliver flexibility, optimisation, and cost savings – while enhancing performance, reliability, and ease of use. Hydrogen refuelling stations in Scotland and the Czech Republic will be the first to benefit from these innovations when they are commissioned later this year.

Recognising that reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness are vital to the hydrogen economy, Logan Energy also applies its extensive expertise to provide training, servicing, and lifecycle maintenance support.

“ETZ Ltd is delighted to welcome Logan Energy to W-ZERO 1. Their experience in hydrogen adds real strength to the low carbon and green energy ecosystem we are building here, and it’s fantastic to see another company commit to serving the North East directly from Aberdeen and the Energy Transition Zone.” – Neil Young, Director, Investment and Development ETZ Ltd
