H2 & O2 for Water & Sewerage

Logan Energy have worked with various water utilities to deliver a novel solution to deliver hydrogen but also utilise the oxygen generated from electrolysis.

Oxygen is used for wastewater treatment via a MABR process (Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor) which reduces the nitrous oxide produced. This results in a large reduction in the climate impacts of wastewater treatment – up to 85% reduction due to reduced energy consumption and fewer greenhouse gas emissions.

The hydrogen produced can be used for fuelling vehicles, fuel cell applications or for onward sale.
